The Course of Fire for a Nevada CCW Permit is set by the Nevada Sheriffs and Cheifs Association.
A humanoid style target such as the B27, B21 or FBI Q shall be used.
A total of 30 live rounds for 6 shot or larger capacity handguns. Score of no less than 210/300
OR
A total of 25 live rounds for 5 shot capacity handguns. Score of no less than 175/250
A minimum score of 70% is required to pass.
1st string of fire is from the 3 yard line
2nd sting of fire is from the 5 yard line and includes a reload
3rd string of fire is from the 7 yard line and includes a reload
Handguns will be holstered at all times unless you are actively shooting during the instructed course of fire.
